From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with the inviting aroma of traditional Mexican spices and the sounds of cheerful chatter. The extensive menu offers a wide range of options, from classic appetizers like Chicharrones and Guacamole to Chef's Specials like Carne Asada and Pollo Asada.

I come here for the nostalgia. The food reminds me of the Mexican comfort food I grew up eating in the suburbs of Seattle. There's no pozole rojo or tacos al pastor on the menu, but you will find a ton of the classics like carne asada, pollo asado, camerones de ajo, and muchas mas. The only thing missing on the menu is bacon wrapped shrimp. Service is great too. Family friendly and good overall neighborhood restaurant.

My wife and I love this classic sit-down Mexican tavern. We went at the recommendation of a friend, and my only regret is that I had not discovered it 30 years ago. The night we went they were celebrating their 61st or 62nd anniversary complete with piñatas for the niños and "niños mayores." We had a great time, and the food and drinks were delicious. I highly recommend Tia Margarita.

The food was delicious as usual, and the service (server: Omar was friendly and efficient) was excellent. I always order my favorite, a large combination. This time I chose Chili Relleno, Ground Beef Taco, and Chicken Burrito, rice, salad, and black beans. Large portions and so Delish! $29.95 My wife and I have been dining at Tia Margarita's since 1969 (55 Yrs.) when we were seniors at Washington High. Now married for 50 years, we have been taking our children to Tia Margarita's for many special occasions too. We all love it! The only thing that has been a little disappointing is that after over five decades of dining there, we have never been acknowledged by name... most likely because nobody even knows our names or even took the time to ask. LOL. Oh well, the restaurant is always busy, and we are so happy about that, and that they are still in business, making delicious food.

The best shrimp scampi or as they call "garlic shrimp" ever! Service can be spotty. Combo platter is delicious.
